What Is LIFE?
Labor & Industry For Education, Inc. ("LIFE") is a non-sectarian, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization formed over twenty-five years ago to help people of all denominations, cultures and abilities. LIFE is based in Cedarhurst, NY and serves people across all of New York State.
Over the past three decades, LIFE has provided direct and indirect services to thousands of needy individuals regardless of their race, religion or ethnic background. These individuals range from toddlers to the aged, many with handicaps. To serve this population, LIFE has developed close relationships with other non-profit organizations, religious organizations and public school districts.
LIFE runs a wide variety of social service programs which provide a myriad of important services and charitable services to underserved communities across the State.
